Nurse Kay

I 36 years old and I have been a registered nurse for eleven years.  I love God, my family, friends, and my job (in that order).  I love to talk, but folk don't always love to listen, so I decided to try my hand at writing.  Pouring the words that are trapped in my head and heart into something meaningful that I can share gives me strength. 

I have experiene in many areas.  I worked as a traveling nurse for 4 years. I was a clinic manager for 2 years.  I am currently working in the department of surgery.  My title is Outpatient RN, but I have the priviledge of circulating through the operating room and recovering patients after procedures.

When I am not working I spend time with my 4 year old daughter who is the absolute most important person in my life.  She was born 3 months premature and is a true fighter.  I get all my strength from her.
